PHOTO OF THE DAY

We’ve moved into the southern hemisphere with a few images coming from New Zealand. This is a Maori rock carving on Lake Taupo accessible only by watercraft. It is relatively new, carved in the 1970s by master carver Matahi Whakataka-Brightwell after finishing his 10-year training with Maori elders.
